Lightning player strikes home gold in Harmony

Sunshine Coast Lightning star netball player Laura Scherian has found her dream home Harmony. The dynamic player and first home buyer moved into her new three-bedroom, two-bathroom home with her partner in April 2019 and has been enjoying Harmony’s relaxed lifestyle.

“To be honest I feel so relaxed since moving to Harmony – I’m loving living here – the community has such a fantastic feel which is why we bought the block of land in the first place,” Ms Scherian said.

“Just the other day a neighbour came over to ask for a couple of eggs, which just sums up the neighbourly vibe going on here.

“It’s that community feel that has made moving to Harmony so worthwhile.”

Harmony’s convenient location – close to the University of the Sunshine Coast, where Ms Scherian works, was one of the deciding factors for the athlete and her partner.

“I work at the university just down the road, so it only takes me six minutes to drive to work. I’m also close to the beach and not far to Brisbane too,” Ms Scherian said.

“The location of our home is close to parks and the proposed shopping precinct, we thought it was just such a central spot.”
