The Spitz Family

When busy parents Johnny and Katie Spitz were looking for a warmer climate and better lifestyle, they decided a big change was in order, so, together with their primary school-aged kids, they opted for a life in Harmony.

“We love the sense of community here, being with other young families, and only 15 minutes from anywhere. Here, we can build a house that the kids can grow into and enjoy as much as we do.”

The Tenadii Family

Fitness has been a major part of Janet and Daryl’s lives for many years, and it was the array of facilities for active residents, together with the chance to build a brand new, yet affordable home that enticed the Tenadii’s to move north from Geelong.

“We wanted to build a home that matched our needs and style. But we didn’t want a development that was too big. Harmony is the perfect size with a lot to offer, especially all the events that have helped us to feel part of the community.”

The Kruis Family

Tanya and Karel, together with their teenage children were attracted to the Sunshine Coast thanks to friends already in the area. And so, with its location in the heart of it all, and the swathes of parklands, Harmony naturally caught their eye.

“We love the water and it’s exactly a 12km bike ride to the beach from here. It’s central but it’s quiet – you don’t hear cars, just crickets and frogs, it’s wonderful, and the linear park is a fantastic idea.”

Maureen and Andrew

While most retirees are looking to downsize, that was not the case for keen ballroom dancers Maureen and Andrew Harris.

“Moving from Mooloolaba we wanted something bigger. Harmony feels very private – like we were living on our own. But we’ve also met plenty of other new residents, all friendly and our neighbours are lovely – we even have street parties together. There’s such a nice old-fashioned feeling of being able to trust your neighbours. And the genuine sense of an emerging community makes it somewhere very special.”

Anthony Demiris

For Anthony Demiris, being the Harmony Development Manager is much more than a job – he absolutely loves coming to work every day.

Anthony has been working on the Harmony project since its inception and has driven the highest of standards through the planning and launch stages and then moving from Brisbane with his family to run the building stages.

Iain and Marley

Musicians Iain and Marley Harris say Harmony is the perfect place for them to live. Whether jamming with their band, cycling around the area or hanging out with friends they have met since moving in, Iain and Marley plan to stay in Harmony for ever.

“We just love it here because there is such a great vide – for us it just had to be Harmony.”

Laura Scherian

Former Sunshine Coast Lightning netballer Laura Scherian personifies hard work, determination and a healthy lifestyle. Born and bred in Queensland, Laura absolutely loves the Sunshine Coast lifestyle and community feel and fell in love with Harmony.

Peter Egerton

Designing beautifully liveable places is what Peter Egerton, Harmony’s Urban Designer, does best. With decades of experience designing magnificent master plan communities, Peter knows exceptional quality of life is the key to living in Harmony.

The Tobin Family

For Holly, Jemma, Amy and Brendan Tobin everything fell into place perfectly moving to Harmony. Amy is a perfectionist and researched the perfect place for her family to settle because everything had to be right. The combination of Harmony’s beautiful surroundings with open spaces and beaches and perfect location near great schools and the Sunshine Coast University made Harmony irresistible.

The Vidler Family

Harmony was the perfect choice for Brooke and Glen Vidler who really wanted somewhere close to their children’s school that had plenty of open spaces for them all to enjoy.

“With the kids loving soccer and running around outside, finding a block of land with the Grand Linear Park at the end of the street meant for us it just had to be Harmony,” Glen says.
